ベルグリフ Berugurifu
Will Belgrieve (ベルグリフ Berugurifu) is a main character in My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer.
He is a retired adventurer and adoptive father to Angeline.
Personality[]
Belgrieve is a selfless and friendly man who chooses to live in the small rural village of Turnera where he helps out wherever he can. Since he lost his leg when he was merely an E-rank adventurer, he believes himself to be mundane and weak. Still, this doesn't stop him from defending the village from monster attacks and training adventurers in his spare time.
Plot[]
Shortly after becoming an adventurer, Belgrieve encountered a fierce shadow monster. In the ensuing battle, he ended up losing his right leg below the knee. Thinking himself weak and needing time to recuperate, he retired to the village of Tunera.
Years later while foraging for herbs in the forest near Tunera, Belgrieve heard the sound of a crying baby. Upon investigating he found a black-haired infant in a basket. With no one else around he decided to take her home and raised her as his own daughter.
As the daughter, Angeline, grew up, Belgrieve imparted his adventuring wisdom and training onto her. This lead Angeline to want to become an adventurer herself so that she could protect people in need.
